Spring Broome County Soccer Association League
The Spring Broome County Soccer Association League provides a competitive soccer opportunity for all players under the age of nineteen. Games are played on weekends from late April through the end of June. Teams are created to meet the interests and needs of members. Teams consist of up to 10 players for Under-10 and younger, 12 players for Under-12, and 18 players for older age groups. This is a travel program; away games can be as far away as Oneonta (2 hours), but usually are within an hour of Trumansburg. Home games are played in Trumansburg on the High School fields. There are 10 games during a season, usually played on weekends– 5 are home and 5 are away.
Teams are formed by contacting the club, or a coach directly to join. Rosters are limited, so early registration is essential. Our spring coaches are: U19 Girls Team: Colleen Robinson; U19 Boys Team: TBD; U14 Girls Team: Michael Holcomb; U14 Boys Team: Justin Bloomquist & Scott Mulford; U12 Girls Team: Emily Ouckama; U12 Boys Team: TBD; U10 Girls Team: Anthony Ouckama; U10 Boys Team: Rob Kaplan
Practices generally start in late March on the fields behind the Trumansburg High School. Practice times are generally 5:30-7, two nights a week, although times are subject to coaches schedules.
Fees incurred include a league registration fee and referee’s fees. Spring travel teams have the opportunity to participate in tournaments as well, in which case, tournament fees would be additional. Fees are $140/player for each of our travel seasons.
