U5-U8 (birth years 2017-2020)

A 5-week outdoor recreational soccer program for children born between 2017 and 2020. The program is held at the Trumansburg Middle School on Saturday mornings, 9:30-10:30, May 3 through May 31. (There is no session 5/24.) This is an informal program designed to introduce soccer to new players, teach basic soccer technique at age-appropriate levels, and, mostly, to have fun. Coaching is conducted by experienced coaches, parent volunteers and upper level club players and is appropriate for these age groups. The emphasis of this program is on fun. “Success” is based on a player’s desire to return week after week, year after year. All players are required to wear cleats or sneakers, shin guards and weather-appropriate clothing.
